Art from Us Posters
Eleven artists were invited to create an image in a box, in response to the eleven tracks which Peter Gabriel had written for the ‘US’ album. The criteria for the choices made were fourfold, that the work should have relationship to the feelings and content of the music, that the artists should come from different parts of the world, that both sexes should be well represented and that less well-known work should be given equal prominence.
A number of posters were printed at the time to celebrate these chosen works and we have recently rediscovered a small batch of them, which we are now making available. Unfortunately, we do not have posters for all the artists’ work but what we do have are:
Blood of Eden - Zadok Ben-David
Fourteen Black Paintings - Jordan Baseman
Only Us - Mickaël Bethe-Sélassié
Steam - Ian Hughes
Washing of the Water - Andy Goldsworthy
Poster size: 70 x 50cm

LAND OF MY OTHER
Land Of My Other is a place of memories and melodies, lyricism and lore. A place of sunlight, faerie-tales and rowan trees; of grief, incarceration and thunder in darkness. A place where ancestral trauma and colonial injustice meet blazing pride, romantic self-rule and hands held in a circle in the sea. Where songs are sung with feeling,
